Epson CX 8300 recognised by the system but doesn"t work

Wnen I trying to print in Ubuntu 8.04 on Epson CX 8300 it just spiting clear paper and nothing else, drivers are intalled, the device recognised by system but doesn"t work at all.

Are you sure that you have the right driver installed? I can't find your printer in the Linux database http://openprinting.org/printer_list.cgi?make=Anyone . Maybe your printer isn't supported in Linux?

I repeat again, Epson CX 8300 recognised by Ubuntu 8.04 exectly by the name of device, but doesn"t work.

I have found the answer, it is need to use fo Epson 8300 CX driver for 7800 CX and everything will work.
So it is realy Ubuntu and Canonical bug. Please fix it.
