Simple Home Partition Selection Box Option during Install

Would it be possible to add a "Create Separate Home Partition" option as part of the install process, either automatically done or a tick box. Many alternate distributions have been offering this option for a few years now and its a very mature way to setup a system. This option makes a clean install update allot easier (just tell the installer not to format the /home partition) and reduces the stress to all during the whole update process (especially for those who prefere clean installs).
