1)can't install java *jre-6u7-linux-i586.bin *; neither *jre-6u7-linux-x64.bin * stop 2) can't install driver for standart printer

NOTE:
I'm new to the UBUNTU 8.04.1 LTS; earlier I used th 6.06 OS and the printer worked perfectly there...
