while pointed over an open desktop area, animates in "busy" mode

Asked by madwoollything

I'm using Ubuntu 7.10 and have been experimenting with compiz fusion.
This bug has occurred since installing compiz. Removing compiz has not solved the problem.

This is only occuring on one log in session .... other users are not affected by the 'while pointed over an open desktop area, animates in "busy" mode'

I had this problem but I managed to fix it by editing my .gtk-bookmarks file in my home folder. There was an entry in there pointing to a network folder which no longer existed, removing this entry solved the problem.

Contents of my .gtk-bookmarks file:

file:///home/user/Music
file:///home/user/Pictures
file:///home/user/Videos
x-nautilus-desktop:///Music%20on%20server.volume <- removing this line and re-logging solved the problem
