gameguard execute error

Hi.
My details are as follow:-
Gnome version is 2.22.2
Ubuntu version is 8.04
Laptop type is Acer Aspire 5051
Wine version is 1.0

I installed wine and then installed Mo Siang ( an online game ) and everthing things run perfectly and when i try to login, it pop up the error that go as follow

Gameguard execute error : 114

Gameguard initialization error. Try rebooting and execute the game or close the program considered to cause a collision.

Pls help. Thank you very much in advance

'gameguard' is a rather invasive piece of software that basically installs a rootkit into windows, this invasive method is not supported by wine and thus no gameguard game currently works under wine.

Looking at the way gaeguard bypsses the OS safeguards to do it'sduty. It is safe to say that no gameguard game will ever work under wne.

The only solution is to boycott any game using Gameguard, or make petitions to the game developpers
