where are the new icons ?

Where is the new theme and new look that intrepid ibex is supposed to show off ? Everything looks same to me. Everything still looks as ugly as before. False promises!

hi james, the new theme in ubuntu 8.10 is called "NewHuman". You can activate it by going to the menu System -> Preferences -> Appearance and choosing "NewHuman". It is a dark theme, lots of brown. I hope you like it...

you're right. keeping this open to see what the rc1 looks like...
