How to get the lexmark x8350 wireless printer to work with ubuntu

I'm using vmware so once the guest operating system is up and running, I go to the VM removable devices > usb deviced > Lexmark usb device. I can't seem to connect to the printer because it does not show the driver for my paticular model is there way to over come this issue.
