Wifi and ethernet are not working simultaneously.
Hi,
My computer has ethernet and wifi interface. I am connected to two different networks using both the interface. Here is the output of ifconfig.
enx00e04c36140a Link encap:Ethernet HWaddr 00:e0:4c:36:14:0a
inet addr:10.103.2.74 Bcast:10.103.2.255 Mask:255.255.255.0
inet6 addr: fe80::407f:
UP BROADCAST RUNNING MULTICAST MTU:1500 Metric:1
RX packets:375162 errors:0 dropped:0 overruns:0 frame:0
TX packets:194154 errors:0 dropped:0 overruns:0 carrier:0
RX bytes:527873473 (527.8 MB) TX bytes:14558728 (14.5 MB)
wlp7s0 Link encap:Ethernet HWaddr 34:02:86:a8:98:78
inet addr:10.145.134.110 Bcast:10.
inet6 addr: fe80::2702:
UP BROADCAST RUNNING MULTICAST MTU:1500 Metric:1
RX packets:1978146 errors:0 dropped:0 overruns:0 frame:0
TX packets:4359711 errors:0 dropped:0 overruns:0 carrier:0
RX bytes:520620565 (520.6 MB) TX bytes:6269340575 (6.2 GB)
In this configuration, If I try to access the IP 10.145.134.111, I am not able to do this. When I disconnect the ethernet (i.e. enx00e04c36140a), 10.145.134.111 is accessible.
Same this is happening when I am trying to access my computer (IP, 10.145.134.110) from IP 10.145.134.110. To check if my system is working or not, I run Wireshark to see if packets are coming to my computer or not. To my surprise, packets are coming to my computer through wifi, but nothing is happening after that.
