How to change mode?

In between three months I was able to connect UBUNTU with internet. According to the suggestions of the helpful people in this community I've installed UBUNTU 8.04.1.
Now my ISP has provided an URL, entering into this URL I've found a login skin.
But my Ethernet should to be set in the 10Mbps/Half Duplex mode. But I think in UBUNTU it is selected in AUTO NEGOTIATION mode. So anybody please help me how can I able to change 10Mbps/Half Duplex mode from AUTO NEGOTIATION mode?
