how to create my own package ????? and what are all the essential skills required for it???

hi,
    i am a new user of linux. i dont have good knowledge in command mode. but i would like to learn all the neccessary skills required to create my own package. so could u please help me out to start ???????

First of all, you need to know programming under Linux, and there are a lot of manuals and howto. see this link to bengin:

The second step is have an idea of the software you want to realize, and it's only up to you this point.

Packaging is easy if you learn it

The link leoquant gave you is about Launchpad PPA but before you can package to a PPA you should learn packaging commands and testing processes perfectly... and you could look at

and also hang out at #ubuntu-motu on irc.freenode.net to get help on the same
