How to install urdu language support ?

Hello to all,

I am new to ubuntu and want to install Urdu language support.
Is there any guide to installing languages ?
I downloaded some packages and want to know if it is safe to install.

Are you connected to the net...? if yes

Open a Terminal from the menu Applications->Accessories->Terminal and type:

sudo aptitude update
sudo aptitude install language-support-ur language-pack-gnome-ur

give your user password when requested, you don't see nothing when you type it, then press enter.
