OS installation
I'm new to Linux. My sons computer crashed so I wiped it clean with D-Ban, so it's a clean install. I downloaded Ubuntu Desktop version on my computer and burned the image successfully to a CD. I started to install the OS and everything checked out. The disc was good. It recognized both hardrives and asked which one to install it to. It also asked if I wanted to partion it. I selected no partion. (160gig drive) It started the installation and progressed to 15% with the message- "looking for file systems" and it has frozen there for about an hour now. I clicked on the minimize button on the status window. The window dissappeared and I can't get it back. So now I don't know where I stand in the installation process. Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks in advance,
Frank
