I’ve Joined Ubuntu Artwork Team need some advice on what I need to contribute.

Like what programs I need to get my hand?
Where can I get the programs?
And any advice you think I need?

most people who create artwork on ubuntu use Inkscape and Gimp (both can be found in add/remove programs)

you might want to join #ubuntu-artwork at irc.FreeNode.net on irc (see https://wiki.ubuntu.com/XChatHowto for info on how to get on irc) in order to talk to other artwork team members, they should be able to help more
