will It work for lan games?

I am running an internet cafe and i would like to ask if UBUNTU will work like p2p networking and for LLAN games like Warcraft Frozen throne, Counter Strike 1.3, Counter Strike Source and other online RPG games?

ubuntu is not windows and thus not all games designed for windows will run on it, indeed to get windows games (and other windows programs) running on ubuntu you have to use a program called 'wine'. you can find out what applications and games work with wine at the wine application database (http://appdb.winehq.org)

there are however many games designed for use on linux/ubuntu that will work nativly and perfectly fine. you can find a nice list here: https://help.ubuntu.com/community/Games - a lot of them are free and can be downloaded from the ubuntu repositories via the add/remove programs application.
