pc mainteanance

i have used windows xp before i migrate to ubuntu
do i need a pc maintenance software (like norton utilities) or there are implemented programs for this (scandisk, defragmenter, etc), and where can i find them.

Hi wanek

You don't need this. Defragmentation is not a big problem for Linux and the system will do a disk check for you after a number of re-boots (16, I think) or if there is not a clean shutdown.
