printer drivers, hardware networking

I am a new person on the block, I would like to know if you can install windows printer drivers, and other windows hardware, security camera board, tv board, does ubuntu allow windows programs to be installed, I also have a network terminal it does not have a cpu only cat 5 networked, can anyone help me??? or guide me

Hi cnemitz

You are asking a lot here. Have you got Ubuntu installed and now want to get all this working, or are you just thinking about Ubuntu and want to know if it will work for you? Because some of these things will work but some may not.

What is your situation?

I have put it on my machine I love the program it seems to be faster than vista and I like what they have to offer, although I do have some internal boards that have not been recognized, along with my printer, I did not know if there was an easy fix or not???
