How can i get a rescue CD for Ubuntu 7.04?

I went to try installing the Ubuntu 7.04 in my Playsation 3 and it kept freezing up on me (6 times) and was never able to complete the full install, pulled out the CD and now a unusable Ubuntu is in my Playsation 3's system as a unusable OS. I even installed a new HDD. Do i need a rescue CD? Can anyone help me?

you could download alternate cd image from www.ubuntu.com that has rescue mode and uses text installer,and also i recommend using latest ubuntu 8.04 as ubuntu 7.04 is nearing its end of life,because it would be supported only for 18 months after release and you will stop receiving any security updates and bug fixes,version 7.04 had some bugs and your problem may be due to it,so i strictly recommend ubuntu 8.04 LTS which will be supported for 3 years after release.
