IT's not working!!!!

Where can I find an easy to understand Operator's Manual for Ubuntu????
So far everything I can find online, can't be downloaded. And what I can find is not helpful.
After three days of tring to get this operating system just in my computer, I now am having a HECK
of a time getting on line with my wireless network and I cant find any installed hardware or a lsit of
drivers I know is installed on the computer, the installation is a daul boot. I'm currently writing using Windows XP. For something that is supposed to be reveloutionary and a vast improvement over the Windows system......
WHAT GIVES?????? I may not be a computer Guru, but this sytem can't be this much of a HEAD ACH.....
