8.04 LTS Instalation fails at 27%

I have burnt the iso to a CD correctly, can instalation gets to 27%, stops, tells me my pc is either running to hot, cd has not burnt correctly etc.

I partitioned drive, but cannot get onto windows to reburn the CD

Help?

what is the exact error message that you receive

Does it say that your PC is running Hot? Does it come as an alert?

I am running my laptop currently Live CD Trial, I get this message 27% into instalation.

I copyed and pasted the alert but it seems to have not worked :@

Title said: "Failed to copy files; faulty CD/DVD or hard disk?"

Will write down full alert in 30 mins or so, wasted half an hour just to get the message and have stuff to do.

Failed to Copy?

Then it means you have a faulty CD/DVD, try replacing it with some other copy and continue.

Try to use the alternate install cd.
