xubuntu 8.04.1 desktop 64 bit bug with mozilla firefox

9-14-2008 xubuntu 8.04.1 desktop 64 bit moilla firefox 3.0.1 can not play this web site

I'm a newbie and it tells me either java is turned off or to down latest PDF player ???

I checked and Java is not turned and I tried to download the latest pdf player
but dont know how to install the .gz file if thats the one I should be using.

It's actually asking you to install "Flash" which is made by Adobe (the same people who make the PDF player you mention.
