Ubuntu ISO not booting

I download the latest long term support Ubuntu ISO on my 16 GB flash drive and when I changed my boot settings and rebooted the computer gave me a blank line

Did you MD5 test the file you downloaded?
How did you put the data onto the USB?

I just downloaded the ISO in a flash drive with nothing else but I tried again with lubuntu and a linux pen drive download and did the same thing and this time it worked. Thank you for help
