i m not able to install oracle 10g XE on ubuntu

I tried to install oracle 10g XE on ubuntu but it did not worked. I got the problem that first package libaio/1 is not installed, then i ried to install this through sudo apt-get install libaio, then i got another error that pakage libaio has no installation candidte. can anyone give me answer?

Hi jad i have solved this problem. I am using 8.04.1 but i am not able to see pictorial representation in mozilla firefox. it requires plugins. I tried to install flash player but it did not work. Can u have any suggestion?

ubuntu does not support oracle. but there is a way we can bluff the system that we are using another linux version and install. right now i am trying it and i got it till some extent. i got hanged at starting xhost
