glchess can't find 3D libraries
Asked by
Jonathan Cohen
I'm running Feisty Fawn beta -- just upgraded. When I launch glchess (installed as part of gnome-games) and try to change the view to 3D, I get an error box saying "Unable to enable 3D mode" and an injunction to install the OpenGL Python bindings and the GTKGLExt Python bindings.
A trip to the package manager reveals that python2.4-opengl and libgtkglext1 are installed and current.
My only guess is that Python 2.5 was installed as part of the update process and that the libraries were built with Python 2.4.
