Connecting to a Remote Desktop from Ubuntu Machine

I am trying to get access to a remote desktop that uses an .rdp file from my ubuntu machine. What all to I need to do to make it work?

Hi

Think you need to install gnome-rdp

You can do this through Synaptic (System->Administration->Synaptic Package Manager) or via the terminal (Applications->Accessories->Terminal) and using the following command. It will ask for your password, type it in and press enter even though you won't see anything while typing the password, it is ok.

sudo apt-get install gnome-rdp

I think you can use the Application Terminal-Server-Client from Applications --> Internet . That supports VNC and RDP
