QQ) - i have Acer Aspire One Intel Atom Processor N270 1.60GHz Netbook (AOA150-1813)
is it compatible with Ubuntu?

Yes, yesterday i just installed Ubuntu on it.

- do you have an USB memory stick (memory pen) >= 700 giga...?
you can install Ubuntu, using memory pen, booting from it.

- do you have an external usb cdrom drive... ?
you can install Ubuntu, booting from it.

Here specific Acer Aspire One Intel help https://help.ubuntu.com/community/AspireOne

QQ) - will i be able to find all the driver set for the same ?
Yes no driver required.

QQ) - and does ubuntu supports c, java programming languages?
Yes you simply need to easily install some repository packages

QQ) - and is the free download version for laptops is enough or i need to buy the full package?
Ubuntu is free and it is always "full package"

To install Ubuntu you must have (download it) the iso image (see below) save it to your pc and check the md5sum (see below).

Download the standard Ubuntu 8.04.1 32 bits iso image from here:
http://releases.ubuntu.com/releases/8.04.1/ubuntu-8.04.1-desktop-i386.iso
or better using a torrent file:
http://releases.ubuntu.com/releases/8.04.1/ubuntu-8.04.1-desktop-i386.iso.torrent

- Please check the md5sum of your downloaded Ubuntu .iso image file, here the https://help.ubuntu.com/community/HowToMD5SUM howto, and compare with http://releases.ubuntu.com/8.04.1/MD5SUMS

Then please tell if you have a memory stick or a cd rom to install Ubuntu on Acer Aspire One.

Hope this helps
