Hi,
please note that commands in a terminal are case sensitive.
It is not
cat/etc/issue
it is
cat /etc/issue
to avoid this you may copy&paste suggested commands into a terminal.
https:/
After each command press Enter, the output is supposed to be copy&pasted here on this platform.
Port 113 is associated with the Internet's Ident/Auth (Identification / Authentication) service.
Ubuntu cannot identify your system.
You may also check the output of
lsb_release -a
and
uname -a
and
cat /etc/hosts
Further it's recommended to clean up your sources.list completely, fill it correct with default entries and run
sudo apt-get update
sudo apt-get upgrade
Manage repositories

apt-get howto
