Ubuntu 7.04, no connections found.

Asked by william

The card is active; but it wont find any networks. I am sure networks are available, when in Windows I can connect to about 5 of them. It is set to roaming mode.

What card are you using? Also, did this just start happening in the past couple of days, or from the time you installed?

Best Regards,

No, I have a broadcom card (internal). This is a fresh install. I am very new; if you need more detailed info on the specific hardware, please provide console commands for me to use. I am a complete novice here. Just ready to ditch Windows, and get started using Linux...but no internet is really frustrating.
