Realtek Audio Driver for MSI A68HM-E33V2 motherboard

Asked by Jenny Bull

I just got an MSI A68HM-E33V2 motherboard with a RTHDASIO chipset for sound. My Ubuntu Linux 6.10 loaded a sound driver and everything shows that it is working, but I do not have any sound. I also checked the speakers and they work. I believe that the problem is I need a new driver. Any help would be appreciated. Also I believe that my Flashplayer is also not working.

Ubuntu 6.10 is end of life and no longer supported in any way. I suggest you remove the installation and do a clean install of Xenial. Xenial is LTS and supported til April 2021

Can you help with this problem?
