driver for wireless network adapter Realtek RTL8187B

I am a newbie to linux. I tired to install ubuntu on my LAPTOP ( Toshiba - Satillite L45-S7423 ). every thing went fine. but its not recognizing my wireless network adapter which is Realtek RTL8187B. Can any one include that in the next version of ubuntu so that i can install ubuntu in the near future. or else i have to buy a laptop from dell which ships pre-installed ubuntu. but i am not able to afford a laptop now.

Have a look at http://linux.komputilo.org/toshiba/ . Laptop slightly different but wireless card the same.

See bug #215802 for the "new hope" for this chip, a patch is being tested and seems to work.
