erase windows virus files from ubuntu

i started ubuntu install and choosed the option that make no changes to disk (running from the cd) i inserted my pen drive with hope i can erase virus files of it, the o.s. (ubuntu) was not able to erase those files....why any solution?

If you install ubuntu you should be able to delete it normally.
If you cant see the virus try to view the hidden files.
