Unable to access Pogo games - Java Error in Ubuntu 8.04
When visiting pogo.com and attempting to log into one of their games, we are getting a applet death error and a popup that says:

I am using the sun-java6-*. The printout of the Java section of "about:plugins" is:

I have checked numerous threads in numerous forums and this is kind of a sticking point for my fiance to use Ubuntu full time. I am currently running Ubuntu "Hardy Heron" 8.04LTS with all applicable updates.
Further, the output of "java -version" outputs:
java version "1.6.0_06"
Java(TM) SE Runtime Environment (build 1.6.0_06-b02)
Java HotSpot(TM) Client VM (build 10.0-b22, mixed mode, sharing)
If there is any further information to help me resolve this, I will do my best. I am fairly new to Linux, I have used it off and on for the last few years. It's a very very basic understanding of the system, so please be precise in any instructions. I would like to move full time over to Ubuntu as I love the layout and the features, I just will need to get used to the differences between Windows and Linux/Debian. I greatly appreciate any help in advance!

Ok, I seem to have solved it on my own. I uninstalled all Sun Java components and installed the icedtea-
Pogo was working fine until I installed Ubuntu 10.10 I have just uninstalled iced tea java and installed sun java6 jre, bin, and plugin as well as seed. This solved my problem
