Need network activity icon that shows activity

I need a taskbar icon that actually shows when there is network activity. I don't care about getting information, just lights will do. Is there such an animal for Gnome Ubuntu? I am running Hardy 8.04.

Right click on Panel, click 'Add to Panel..'

Scroll down in the list & click on Network Monitor.

Click 'Add'

Done!

Works great. Thanks so much. I have 3 computers on my home network and generally keep the dsl modem offline (it has a browser interface) until needed. Modem lights are hidden from view from where I often sit. Thanks again.
