Lost Top Bar on my desktop

I had recently installed all the things on my desktop to make my ubuntu 8.04 computer look like Mac os X and i made the mistake of deleting the top bar on my dekstop, is there a way for me to get this back. I had deleted it cause it was way too big, but i figured out the problem after i deleted the bar, so i need a way to get it back.

You can't get it back (as in, exactly how it was) however you can create a new panel and make it likle it was.

To do this, right click on the panel you do have, and select 'New Panel'.

A new panel should now appear at the top (if it is not at the top, drag it to the top with your mouse).

Now right click on the newly created panel and select 'Add to Panel...' then add all the panel applets that you had before.
