hard disk rearrangements

i am a new user and had used the cd to install the ubuntu 7.1 .
i had no help and had to install myself.
i reffered a site which said that i allocated 2000mb for the swap memory
and 2 gb for the boot.

i noticed that these are not used that frequently and i would like to use that memory also.

so i need to rearrange the disk properties WITHOUT REINSTALLING THE UBUNTU 7.1.

i have not came a cross any kind of disk manager.

plz help me

to rearrange disk space and stuff like that check "gparted"

can you be a bit more specific about "..so i need to rearrange the disk properties WITHOUT REINSTALLING THE UBUNTU.." part?
