Broadcom Wireless setup

I have HP Compaq Presario V3225 AU laptop with Windows vista preloaded version. It has a Broadcom 802.11 b/g WLAN. I am a newbie to Linux and have Suse and Ubuntu live CDs. Before installing the same, I want to know whether I can have the advantage of a Wireless access to internet. If yes, the process to set it up may be sent to put the Ubuntu os to the best use.

I would advise downloading, burning and trying out the Ubuntu 8.04.1 "live CD" from

http://www.ubuntu.com/getubuntu/download

You can boot from this to see if your hardware will be supported.
