Xubuntu ate my right-click emulations...

Asked by VeganChick

I'm using a MacBook (meaning a one-button trackpad) and I recently switched from Ubuntu to Xubuntu. I had an emulation set so that right-click was emulated with the lower enter key, but when I switched, that emulation no longer works. I tried to enter the command line I'd used originally, but it still doesn't work. So right now I can't right-click at all.

Can anyone help fix this problem? Thanks!

The XFCE wish list (http://wiki.xfce.org/wish_list) implies that you cannot, at the moment, map a key and a mouse button easily. If it helps, I am fairly sure the default is for shift + mouse button 1 on the desktop to open the menu, ctrl + mouse button one to 'right click' on the panel.

There may be a way to do it via Xmodmap, but I do not know much about it, unfortunately.

Can you help with this problem?
