What are you exactly doing? Why did you uninstall ubuntu? Why don't you boot the live CD itself? I see no need for wubi.exe to run the live CD ..

You need a copy of the CD itself to do such an install. If you cannot write it yourself, you need to request a free one to be shipped to you at this URL:
https://shipit.ubuntu.com/
This is a free service and costs you nothing, but it isn't fast shipping, so please try to write it yourself if at all possible
Once you have the LiveCD one way or another, boot from it by:
0) open the disk drive and, without closing it, shut down your system (if you have to close it, put the cd in and skip step 1)
1) Put the CD in the drive
2) Start your computer. When you see the logo for whatever company made your computer, look for a "boot menu" command and use it
3) follow the prompts

Alternately, you could install it via wubby.exe, but I think that probably would require you to have wubby and everything else on a disk, in the disk drive. In short, you need a copy of the LiveCD

Oops, I meant wubi, not wubby

Can you help with this problem?
