Unplugging Wireless USB causes System Crash

When I unplug my 'zd1211' WLAN USB card, my whole system hangs and requires a hard reset. Is this my compter or Ubuntu?

It should be noted that it's quite hard to recreate this bug, sometimes the system hangs upon connecting to a wireless network, and sometimes it hangs when unplugging it. It has no constant pattern.

It should also be noted that this does not occur under Windopes.
