since8.04 installed, computer keeps shuting off

Ever since upgrade to 8.04, our computer keeps shuting down on it's own. Pop up says sleep problem. Can someone help?

try disabling power managment/sleep/hibernation for a while.

I'm guessing something on your motherboards acpi functions aren't happy with the power management setup in 8.04.

Disable them - see how it runs, if it runs well, we can look at tweaking the setup to get you power management back, but working. Lets see if thats the issue first though by disabling it.

Matt, I went in to power management, and placed the settings at "never".
So, we will see what happens from here. I will let you know.
