i cant install

i am trying to install software for downloading music such as imesh, limewire, etc. but i cant seem to figure out how to i tryed some of the steps but there is no difference i need help

Try FrostWire for one, it is a backup/open source of LimeWire:

I have tested it under edgy, it works!

or the very limewire:

Haven't tested this one, but it should work too.
