Can I revert the changes made by the X server reconfiguration to the default settings?

Asked by Nate King

I just had to reconfigure my X server because something went wrong when trying to install Beryl. I configured it mostly right, but now but nothing seems to respond when I click and the screen resolution is off. Is there any way I could revert the changes made and "restore" it back to the way it was, or are there any changes I can make now to fix these problems?

Update: The mouse seems to work fine now. I was able to determine that my screen resolution is 1024 X 768 and i need it at 1280 X 800. Since there is no option for that, I tried configuring it again and adding that option for the screen resolution, and there is still no option for that under System > Screen resolution. How should I add this option?

Problem solved - I configured it through the Nvidia X Server settings under System tools
