mount volume automatically

Asked by marceloudendijk

I have all my music files on a windows disk. To play them with Rhythmbox for example, I need to mount the disk manually each time. I set the preferences in Rhythmbox to look into the proper directory.
Is there a way to mount the volume automatically, each time I start up?

There is some methods. I like to do it myself by editing /etc/fstab. Use the method you like most. In the end there should be some lines in /etc/fstab telling ubuntu what, where and how the volume should be mounted.
