java and flashplayer help FOR EDGY

I am on a g3 I mac 600mhz 60gig 512mb i installed ubuntu edgy from dapper updated. I try to download the java and flash player from add remove i get error message because this is power pc it doesn't support it. I went to Sun java to find my update needed and I am lost on which one to download and how to install it.
Same with Adobe flash player not sure which one to download or how to install can anyone give me plain English steps to take? I love the ubuntu but i need my javas and such for my pogo games and other websites thanks in advanced

I'm sorry to inform your that Sun does not provide Java for the power pc. You may find that the gjc* java packages suffice--they aim to be compliant with Java 1.4 (4) and a plugin is available. The GNU java impementation is very reliable.

The same is true for flash. Macromedia Flash is only available to x86 systems. PowerPC and AMD64 systems cannot run the official plugin. You will find libflash-mozplugin will work about 30% of the time.

okay thank you for all the help i will refer back to this in later use I am running ubuntu 6.10 on my dell and it seems to work fine i unistalled it from the imac due to other issues. Will ubuntu for this work on a G3 Ibook with 10gb and 350mb?
