I'm sorry to inform your that Sun does not provide Java for the power pc. You may find that the gjc* java packages suffice--they aim to be compliant with Java 1.4 (4) and a plugin is available. The GNU java impementation is very reliable.

The same is true for flash. Macromedia Flash is only available to x86 systems. PowerPC and AMD64 systems cannot run the official plugin. You will find libflash-mozplugin will work about 30% of the time.

So where do i find the GJC java packages or the ?GNU? lost more information needed thanks

okay thank you for all the help i will refer back to this in later use I am running ubuntu 6.10 on my dell and it seems to work fine i unistalled it from the imac due to other issues. Will ubuntu for this work on a G3 Ibook with 10gb and 350mb?
