Airport card issue

I have a g3 366mhz clamshell ibook 10 gb drive with wireless card I want to install ubuntu on it as i enjoy using it on my dell and older Imac but it wont recognize the airport card what needs to be done before i upgrade it and won't be able to access online from the ibook thank you in advanced

thanks for pointing out the forums. i have not installed ubuntu on my laptop yet i am running airport not the extreme so hopefully it will just load up with no issues i will be back if it does thanks Leo
