on windows reinstall, you need to reinstall grub too.this guide can help you :
https://help.ubuntu.com/community/RecoveringUbuntuAfterInstallingWindows

the later problem of reinstalling all softwares is better dealt with softwares like "remastersys".
you can also make local repositories for package-reuse and sharing with friends :

Hi,
check this out
https://help.ubuntu.com/community/32bit_and_64bit
and for it might happen again when Win... overwrites the MBR another option is Super_Grub_Disk
http://www.supergrubdisk.org/index.php

Can you help with this problem?
