I cannot install my Powercolor ATI radeon X700 AGP on Drapper and all your other versions of ubuntu

Hello, when you install ubuntu it configures everything automatically. Don't try to use the your ATI installation cd's because those programs are written for windows and in ubuntu you can not use it.
Don't use Drapper because that's just a beta version and it is very unstable. It is just ford developers.
So in my opinion just like in my case ubuntu recognizes all your hardware you don't have to work with it.

I know about that
So i tried to install the official drivers and it wont work.
I say it for the developement of your OS and i wanted to try XGL
but first i cannot install the official Driver (sorry for my bad english)
im using Linux Mepis because the driver come with (and opengl work perfectly) And i know its based on debian

P.S: The only versio that worked its the beta
