(New 2 Ubunto) 8.04 Upgrade stopswhile configuring.

(New 2 Ubunto)
While upgrading to 8.04 the upgrade process stops during configuration of locales...just before upgrade should finish.
it seems that some things did get upgraded. How can i be sure? download the iso?

Please open a Terminal from the menu Applications->Accessories->Terminal and type:

sudo apt-get -f install
sudo apt-get update
sudo apt-get upgrade
sudo apt-get dist-upgrade
sudo apt-get clean all

give your user password when requested, you don't see nothing when you type it, then press enter.
