If you can't boot from a cd then how did you install in the first place. What do you mean there are no partitions - how are you running ubuntu.

You will need to give a bit more information here.

Can I boot the laptop from cd by changing the bios setting?
If this is possible, how is it done?

Thanks

There should be a boot device selection on your bios menu. Bios menus differ from model to model so I can't pinpoint it for you.

Can you help with this problem?
