Just run the following command to remove this app. In a terminal type:

sudo apt-get remove casper

Sorry i get back so late but that wasn`t it either, it has something to do with it but i don`t know how exactly, my computers keep crashing, but i think/hope i found it now after a very very long time but i have no clue how to fix it.
I think there is a bug/virus in my memory (s) in all 3 computers, one with ubuntu and 2 with xp because when it boots up it goes to my floppy, then my dvdram and after that to my HD, i tried almost anything to fix it but i can not get it off and to make things worse microsoft seems to think i am a hacker now because my computers keep braking down and i think my computers are fixed about 30 times now or so and most of the times a new motherboard or memory or HD or more with all my 3 computers.
It has a pcibios all over sudden and dos 7.10 in himem.
My memory is called nvram all over sudden and my bios is not where it should be because when i flash it nothing happens.
To make things worse there is a inprocserver running somewhere which pretty much controls everything now and i think it is microsoft or my own provider.
I get rerouted to other ip`s so they can check what i am up to which is nothing important.
I think i have about 4200 euro damage so far and still counting.

Is there anybody who can help me with this virus/ memory /boot problem.
It would very much make my day, what do i say, no my year.
If anyone even has a suggerstion or a idea, please let me know, i am so desperate i will try almost anything now short of throwing them away.

Thanks in advance.

It seems nobody knows a answer but i think it is solved all over sudden, since i put this message here things improved GREATLY.
I still don`t know who put it there in the first place but it is controlled and monitored now by my provider.
