Ubuntu changes proposal

Asked by Michal Dziczkowski on 2016-11-27

I have a question:

Why is bluetooth installed as default and it's made that many packages depend on it, even if not every one uses it and leaving it installed would mean usage of precious disk space and memory space?

I think that it could be made else way and most packages should not be dependant from other ones, except if it's absolute required.

In my opinion users should have possibility to have decission with packages should be installed when they start Ubuntu (for example from LiveCD or while instalation) and not that some many packages are defaultly installed (and with take the memory and disk space while instalation) from with the most won't be used

What do you think?

I suggest you report a bug. Mark it as a feature request to make Bluetooth less ingrained in the packaging

Can you help with this problem?
